Best Western Bayfront - St. Augustine Hotel

My bad experience with this hotel.
I am 67 years old a travel a LOT. This is a first.
I booked the Best Western Bayfront - St. Augustine Hotel for 3 nights via the Best Western Reservation line. A confirmation was sent via e-mail with the charges agreed on the phone. When I arrived the front desk informed me that there was an $18.00 per night charge for parking!!!! Or, about a 15% up-charge on my room rate.
I pulled out my reservation confirmation and there is no mention of a parking fee. The hotel asst manager said it falls under "other fees" and refused to remove the fee. I tried numerous times with numerous managers protesting this unfair charge that was never mentioned on my reservation or by the Best Western Reservations agent. I was told it is listed on the website. When I looked on my phone, it was indeed listed but FIVE PAGES BURIED IN THE HOTEL INFORMATION!! I explained that I did not look at the internet and reminded the staff that I booked via phone direct from Best Western and again reminded them that there was no mention of this charge and if they were charging for parking it should be easy to see on a mobile device and mentioned by the agent as well as the hotel reservation confirmation.
In closing, Best Western quotes a price but you pay more than they quoted with hidden fees. After being totally blown off by the staff I gave up and simply said I would report my experiences to social media to protect others. I highly suggest avoiding Best Western establishments.
